You will set up and operate CNC machines, interpret engineering drawings, and use precision measuring tools to verify parts. Qualifications

• Proven hands-on CNC machine operating experience.
• Confident setting up CNC machinery and adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of tolerances, dimensions and quality control.
• Skilled in using precision measuring equipment.
• CNC programming experience or machining qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery for component production.

CNC Machine Operator

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing operation in North West Auckland. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision, quality workmanship, and producing components to a high standard.

Location: North West Auckland, Auckland

Start date: Immediate start

Pay rate: $30-36 per hour + weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing

• Set up and operate CNC machinery for component production
• Select, change, and adjust tooling to suit machining requirements
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Set machine parameters and monitor machining cycles
• Measure finished components using verniers, micrometers, and calipers
• Identify tool wear and troubleshoot machining or production issues
• Complete routine machine checks and record production information accurately

What We're Looking For

• Proven hands-on CNC machine operating experience
