Job summary

Victor Hydraulics Limited in Hornby, Christchurch, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our precision engineering team. You will operate a range of CNC machines and produce high quality components.You should have hands-on experience with FANUC, FAGOR or Mazak controls, read drawings, and commit to lean practices and safety. This is a full-time role with day shifts and opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in CNC machining or a related field.
• Familiarity with FANUC, FAGOR, Mazak controls and CNC operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience with lean practices.
• Strong Health and Safety ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of CNC machines including FANUC-controlled horizontal and vertical lathes.
• Produce high-quality machined components to drawings.
• Maintain and service equipment to ensure reliability.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment.

• Microweilly Teach Lathe
