Job summary

Jetts New Zealand is seeking Club Assistants to create a welcoming gym environment and support members in achieving their health goals. The role emphasizes customer service, sales, and a positive club culture at our Wellington locations.

Hours are flexible and assigned on an as-needed basis, with shifts during our staffed hours. Responsibilities include delivering an exceptional member experience, driving membership growth, and maintaining clean, well-maintained facilities.

Qualifications

• NZ citizen, resident, or open work visa without restrictions for 12 months.
• First Aid certificate covering CPR and defib (NZQA 6401 and 6402) or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent customer service skills and a sales focus.
• Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive an exceptional member experience and build relationships with members and local businesses.
• Assist in delivery of new membership sales and growth, reporting to Regional Performance Manager.
• Maintain a positive club culture by engaging in events and promotions.
• Perform in-club operations tasks to keep areas clean and equipment maintained.

The Opportunity

Jetts NZare looking for Club Assistantswho areenergetic, positive, and most importantly lovesto support people achieve their health and exercise goals by creating and maintaining a friendly and welcoming club culture.

Your working hours are:

Flexible, picked up on an 'as and when required' basis

Available shifts will be within our club staffed hours Mon 10am - 7pm, Tue - Thu 12pm - 7pm and Sat 8am - 11am

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Driving an exceptional member experience and building key stakeholder relationships with members and local businesses

Assisting in delivery of agreed new membership sales and growth on a regular basis, reporting to your Regional Performance Manager

Maintaining a positive club culture with the members by engaging in key events and promotions

Performing regular in-club operations tasks to ensure all areas are clean and hygienic, equipment and club repairs are updated and scheduled regularly
