Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to help shape Auckland's digital landscape. You will define how systems, platforms and data connect in a modular, cloud-based environment, and set patterns and standards for integration across the organisation.

You will work closely with the Principal Architect and Digital teams to translate strategy into practical, scalable solutions and guide delivery with Architects and Technical Leads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in solution design, including at least 3 years within integration.
• Strong knowledge of modern integration architecture and design.
• Experience across APIs, messaging and file-based integration.
• Experience developing high-level designs and architecture patterns.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve Watercare’s integration strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Establish integration patterns that improve consistency, reliability and security.
• Own high-level solution designs across the integration domain.
• Provide architecture guidance across API-based, file-based and message-driven integration.
• Support architects and Technical Leads with integration design and delivery.
• Help shape move towards a modular and cloud-native technology environment.
• Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and develop scalable solutions.
• Influence key technology decisions across Watercare.
