Job summary

Comply365 is actively seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments. You will build secure, scalable platforms, drive automation, and support reliability and performance across production systems.

The role is hybrid with Wellington office attendance three days per week, and requires Linux administration, IaC tooling, and collaboration with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to maintain secure

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, and cloud operations.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, preferably Datadog.
  • Experience with Git based source control workflows.
  • Experience working with Jira or similar work management platforms.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting tools concepts.
  • Familiarity with AI powered tools for troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, maintain, and support AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

  • Support and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Monitor platform availability, performance, and reliability using Datadog and other observability tools.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, cloud, and operational issues across production environments.
  • Perform platform maintenance activities including patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
  • Utilize Git based workflows for infrastructure management and collaboration.
  • Manage operational activities through Jira and established change management processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational runbooks.
  • Leverage automation, scripting, and AI assisted tools to improve operational efficiency and service reliability.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to maintain secure and highly available services.

About the role

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure and operational services across AWS and hybrid environments.
