Comply365 in Wellington, NZ is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments. You will focus on secure, scalable, and highly available platforms, driving automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across the organization.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Support teams to keep services reliable, with a hybrid work pattern requiring office presence in Wellington three days per week.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and operating AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding of networking, compute, storage, security, and cloud operations.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, preferably Datadog.
  • Experience with Git based source control workflows.
  • Experience working with Jira or similar work management platforms.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting tools concepts.
  • Familiarity with AI powered tools for troubleshooting, automation, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Perform platform maintenance including patching, upgrades, capacity planning, and optimization.
  • Utilize Git-based workflows for infrastructure management and collaboration.
  • Manage operational activities through Jira and change management processes.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and runbooks.
  • Leverage automation, scripting, and AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency.

About the role

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve cloud infrastructure and operational services across AWS and hybrid environments.


The role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available platforms while driving automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across the organization.

What we're looking for
