Job summary

DB-Supply-LLC seeks a friendly retail associate to provide direct customer service and sell merchandise on the sales floor in Wellington, focusing on clothing, footwear and accessories.

You will assist customers, restock and prepare displays, support inventory cycles, and handle routine inquiries by phone. Maintain a clean, safe floor and friendly shopping atmosphere, and work as part of a team to meet store goals. High school diploma or GED preferred, ability to lift up to 75 pounds required.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of retail floor sales techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Ability to sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
• Ability to resolve difficult or stressful customer service issues.
• Demonstrated teamwork.
• Exposure to visual merchandising and product placement techniques is desired.

Responsibilities

• Sell merchandise and advise customers on price and features.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend accessories.
• Assist customers in ordering specialized merchandise as needed.
• Receive and display merchandise according to policies and standards.
• Answer telephone inquiries and maintain the sales floor.
• Perform general floor maintenance and housekeeping; safeguard merchandise.
• Participate in inventory cycle activities.
• Move material using hand tools or equipment (hand truck, pallet-jack, forklifts).
• Other duties as assigned by management related to customer service and merchandising.
