Job summary

Blenheim Yum Yum Kebab and Smoothies in Blenheim is seeking an experienced Outlet Manager to run daily operations, lead staff, maintain service standards and drive profitable performance.

You will oversee staffing, stock control, customer care, health and safety, and implement promotional activity to boost sales while ensuring food quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ relevant retail, hospitality or outlet management experience.
• A Level 4 or higher qualification in any field.
• Ability to independently manage and make operational decisions for a retail or hospitality outlet.
• Strong commercial awareness of sales, costs, stock control and profitability.
• Strong leadership, planning, decision-making and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage staff and business operations with minimal supervision.
• Either relevant management experience or the stated qualification is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Outlet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our outlet. The successful applicant will manage staff, coordinate daily service, maintain customer service and operational standards, monitor stock and sales, and ensure the outlet operates efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and commercial performance of the outlet.
• Plan and manage staffing requirements, rosters, shift allocation and workforce utilisation to meet business needs.
• Lead and manage staff performance, including training, development, performance expectations and workplace standards.
• Monitor sales, revenue, cash handling, operating costs and outlet performance, and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Manage stock levels, purchasing requirements, inventory control and wastage, including coordination with suppliers.
• Review customer demand, sales patterns and operational performance to support business and product decisions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer issues appropriately.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, hygiene, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are consistently maintained.
• Coordinate ordering, receiving and stock management to ensure appropriate product availability.
• Maintain and review operational and financial records and provide performance information and recommendations to management.
• Implement promotional activities and initiatives to increase sales, customer engagement and outlet performance.

Skills and Experience Required
