About the Role

Are you organised, accurate and enjoy working with information and records? We're looking for two motivated team members to join our Clinical Records team on a fixed-term basis to support a significant file maintenance programme.

Working with both physical and electronic records, you'll help ensure patient information is correctly located, tracked, maintained and stored. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute directly to the integrity of our clinical record systems and support the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, takes pride in accuracy, and can consistently meet productivity and quality expectations.

This is a physically active role involving regular lifting, moving files, bending and extended periods on your feet throughout the day. A reasonable level of physical fitness is therefore essential.

This is a fixed term opportunity for 8 months. The salary range for this role is$59,313- $65,876 (pro rata), depending on experience.

About the Team/Service/ Location

Based in the Wellington Regional Hospital, our team in clinical records are responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of patient records. Our goal is to ensure we deliver a well-organised and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • Experience in an administrative, records management, health information or clinical records environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Previous experience within Clinical Records or Health Information Services would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
