Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks a Team Coordinator at Hutt Hospital to support the Advancing Wellness at Home Initiative. You will coordinate daily clinical operations, assist with discharge planning, and oversee workload prioritisation across Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech‑Language Therapists, Nurses and Assistants.

The role combines clinical coordination, leadership and service development, with opportunities for workforce planning and professional supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience
• Current NZ driver's license
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support development of others
• Leadership or service improvement experience is advantageous
• Understanding of ACC is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations and rostering across the team
• Support discharge planning and prioritisation of clinical workloads
• Contribute to workforce planning and recruitment
• Drive performance, development activities and continuous quality improvement
• Provide clinical guidance and support to multidisciplinary team
