Job summary

Forté Health in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator to develop others and support teams in delivering exceptional care.

This 0.6 FTE role (Tuesday-Thursday) collaborates with the Clinical Nurse Specialists and Quality team to deliver learning programmes, grow workforce strength, and drive continuous improvement. Casual theatre work is available.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of theatre experience in New Zealand.
• Experience delivering education and professional development for clinical teams.
• Ability to influence clinical practice and support continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging learning programmes for Theatre staff.
• Work with Clinical Nurse Specialists and Quality to grow workforce strength.
• Drive continuous improvement in clinical education and patient outcomes.
• Influence clinical practice and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence.
• Identify educational needs and tailor programmes to staff across the theatre.

Clinical Educator Theatre

TŪRANGA THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Clinical Educator who is passionate about developing others and helping teams deliver exceptional care?

In this role, you'll join an existing team providing education and professional growth across the hospital with a specific focus on the Theatre staff.

You’ll work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialists and Quality team to deliver engaging learning programmes, grow workforce strength, and drive continuous improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence clinical practice and make a real difference to both staff and patient outcomes.

This role is 0.6 FTE Tuesday- Thursday. Additional casual work in theatre is also available.
