Job summary

Forte Health, a modern private surgical hospital in central Christchurch, is seeking an experienced Clinical Educator focused on the Ward and surgical nursing staff. The role involves delivering engaging learning programmes and collaborating with leadership to drive improvements in patient care.

You will be part of a team promoting excellence in patient care and sustainable healthcare, with a 0.6 FTE commitment (three days per week) and additional casual work on the Ward.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of Surgical Nursing experience (NZ).
• Postgraduate study relevant to clinical education.
• Experience in clinical education, workforce development, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver education programmes for ward and surgical nursing staff.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders and Quality team to drive learning and professional growth.
• Grow workforce strength and drive continuous improvement in clinical practice.

Clinical Educator WARD/Surgical

TŪRANGA THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Clinical Educator who is passionate about developing others and helping teams deliver exceptional care?

In this role, you'll
join a team providing education
and professional growth across the hospital with a specific focus on the Ward and surgical nursing staff.
You’ll work closely with the Team Leader s and Quality team to deliver engaging learning programmes, grow workforce strength, and drive continuous improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to,
influence clinical practice and make
a real difference to both staff and patient outcomes.

This role is
0.6 FTE. which will be 3 days each week.
Additional casual work on the Ward is also available.
