Job summary

Apex Group is seeking a Client Billing Administrator for a 12-month fixed term in Auckland. The role focuses on revenue and accounts receivable, supporting the NZ Finance Manager, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across Apex New Zealand entities.

You will prepare client invoices, accrue monthly net revenue, review aged debtors, and contribute to financial analysis and controls. Hybrid working and professional development are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue client invoices in accordance with contractual agreements and company policies, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Accurately calculate and record monthly net revenue accruals to ensure financial statements reflect the true financial position of the company.
  • Review and support following up on aged debtors.
  • Perform specialized financial analysis as needed to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee financial controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Support the Finance Manager in preparing for and conducting both local and group financial audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Provide financial expertise and support for strategic projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation of project outcomes.
  • Assist in the integration of financial processes and systems where applicable, ensuring smooth transitions and consistency in financial operations.
  • Undertake any other finance-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Manager, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.

Client Billing Administrator (12 months fixed term)
Location : Auckland

Description

The primary focus of this role is on revenue and accounts receivable for the next 12 months. The person will support the Finance Manager for New Zealand in managing the accounts receivable function, delivering accurate management reporting, and ensuring compliance with finance-related regulations across all Apex New Zealand entities.
