Job summary

Compass Group New Zealand is seeking a positive, reliable Cleaning Assistant for CHT St Johns, Epsom on a casual basis. You will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff with flexible shifts based on site needs.

Ideal candidates have prior commercial cleaning experience and a can-do attitude, with flexible availability to meet short-notice needs. This casual role offers weekend rates and development opportunities within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, toilets, offices and shared living areas to a high standard.
• Vacuum, mop and polish floors throughout the facility.
• Empty rubbish and maintain a tidy environment across all areas.
• Safely use, maintain and store cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Follow infection control, health and safety and security procedures.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and respond to additional cleaning requirements as needed.

• We are looking for a positive, reliable and energetic
• Casual Cleaning Assistant to join our team at CHT St Johns in Epsom. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours, offering flexible shifts based on site requirements and your availability. You will help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents, visitors and staff while delivering high standards of service.

Ko o Kawenga / Your Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, toilets, offices and shared living areas to a high standard
• Vacuum, mop and polish floors throughout the facility
