Job summary

Arvida in Wellington is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our community, ensuring a comfortable environment for residents.

You will clean resident rooms and interior areas, coordinate with colleagues to identify areas needing attention, and work with your supervisor to manage supplies and equipment, delivering calm, courteous support to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team, and be highly responsible and reliable.
• The ability to focus on our resident needs and remain calm and courteous.

Our Housekeepers contribute to the quality of life of our residents by maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across our community, and ensuring a comfortable environment for our residents.

You will be responsible for cleaning all areas within our community - including resident rooms and the interior of our facilities. You will liaise with other team members to identify areas that require special cleaning and collaborate with your supervisor in maintaining supplies and equipment.
