Job summary

Sts Peter and Paul School (L Hutt) Wellington invites applications for a full-time, permanent Classroom Teacher for Years 1–8. The role involves teaching across curriculum areas in a Catholic kura, with emphasis on inclusive, enquiry-based learning.

You will join a supportive team, deliver engaging instruction, assess progress, and foster positive outcomes for ākonga and their whānau. A willingness to participate in religious instruction aligned with the school's Special Character is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current teaching certificate and be registered with the appropriate New Zealand teaching authority.
• Experience delivering curriculum across Years 1–8 is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, assess and adapt teaching to individual learner needs.

Responsibilities

• Teach Classroom aged Years 1–8 in a Catholic primary school.
• Collaborate with teaching colleagues to deliver a holistic curriculum.
• Engage with ākonga and whānau to support positive learning outcomes.
