Job summary

Hutt Central School in Wellington invites applications for a full-time, fixed-term Certificated teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team. The role focuses on junior learners (Years 1–3) with strong classroom practice and sound organisational and interpersonal skills.

You will teach English, health and physical education, learning languages, mathematics and statistics, science, social sciences, technology, te reo Māori and The Arts, and work from 27 January 2027 until 17 December

Qualifications

• Motivated, innovative and reflective teacher with strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate junior learners in Years 1–3.

Responsibilities
