Job summary

Welbourn School in New Zealand is seeking a passionate Certificated teacher for a full-time fixed-term role starting 27 January 2027 and ending 15 December 2027 (Special Project). The successful kaiako will teach across Years 1–8, build strong relationships with ākonga, whānau and colleagues, and contribute to an energetic, collaborative team focused on inclusive, evidence-informed practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current teaching certificate and be registered to teach in New Zealand.
• Ability to connect with diverse learners and whānau.

Responsibilities

• Teach across primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) and contribute to curriculum development.
• Build strong relationships with ākonga, whānau and colleagues.
