Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to join a busy transport operation in Dunedin. You will transport chilled and frozen goods, requiring experience with temperature-controlled freight. The role rewards reliability and a strong commitment to safe, efficient deliveries. Location: Dunedin City.

Start date: Immediate. Pay rate: $35 per hour. You will deliver and pick up products, assist the Stores team, and coordinate with dispatchers to meet delivery times and temperature controls

Qualifications

• Current Class 5 driver licence.
• Ideally at least 2 years of Class 5 driving experience.
• Experience with frozen or temperature-controlled freight.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A solid understanding of health, safety and compliance.
• OSH Forklift Licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and picking up chilled and frozen products.
• Assisting the Stores team with preparing products for loading and unloading.
• Working closely with dispatchers to help ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintaining required delivery times and temperature controls for customer goods.
