Job summary

Tradestaff West Auckland is seeking an experienced Class 4 Driver to join a busy team, delivering chilled, frozen and ambient products to restaurants, cafés and hospitality businesses in West Auckland. Immediate start, safety-conscious and customer-focused preferred.

You’ll complete daily delivery runs, perform vehicle checks, logbooks and digital manifests, load/unload, and provide excellent service with proof of delivery.

Qualifications

• Hold a current New Zealand Class 4 driver licence.
• Experience operating Class 4 vehicles.
• WTR endorsement preferred.
• Physically fit with ability to perform manual handling tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Experience using handheld delivery devices.
• Forklift endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily delivery runs to restaurants, cafés, and hospitality businesses.
• Load, transport, and deliver chilled, frozen, and ambient products safely.
• Conduct daily pre-start and end-of-day vehicle inspections.
• Complete delivery paperwork, logbooks, and digital manifests using handheld devices.
• Safely load and unload pallets, trolleys, and cartons using pallet jacks.
• Assist with stock returns and basic stock checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and obtain proof of delivery.
• Follow health and safety, food safety, and road transport regulations.
