Job summary

Zealandia Horticulture is seeking an experienced Class 5 Delivery Driver to join our distribution team in Auckland, delivering live plants to retail and commercial customers across the North Island.

The role involves multi-stop deliveries, regular overnight stays, and manual unloading with extended hours during Spring/Summer. You must have 2+ years of Class 5 driving experience, excellent English, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Class 5 driving experience.
• Experience with multi-stop retail deliveries.
• Physically fit for unloading up to 500 kg per day.
• Excellent spoken English and customer service skills.
• Valid licences and driving record.
• Ability to pass a driving assessment at interview.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live plants to retail and commercial customers across the North Island.
• Perform multi-stop loads and unloads at customer sites.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain vehicle cleanliness.

Class 5 Delivery Driver

The role:

We're looking for an experienced Class 5 driver to join our distribution team, delivering live plants to retail and commercial customers throughout the North Island.

The role involves multi-stop deliveries, regular overnight stays and manual unloading.

During our busy Spring/Summer season (September-March), you can expect extended hours, including 60+ hours per week.

Please note: We can only consider candidates with existing work rights, and already living in Auckland, New Zealand.

You’ll need:

• Minimum 2 years' Class 5 driving experience
• Experience with multi-stop retail deliveries
• Physical fitness for manual unloading up to 42 racks weighing up to 500kg each per day!
• Excellent spoken English and customer service skills
• Clean driving record and appropriate licences
• Pride in maintaining vehicles and equipment
• Flexibility for overnight North Island routes and extended hours
• Ability to pass a driving assessment at interview
