Job summary

Waste Management in New Zealand seeks a Class 4 Driver - Partswasher to service customer sites, collect waste, and operate on a fixed run in Christchurch (Bromley) or Dunedin. You will build strong customer relationships, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver reliable servicing daily.

This role involves working independently, with full training provided on specialised equipment and a clear path to grow within a market-leading company that prioritises safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 4 licence with a good driving record.
• D endorsement, or keen to get one.
• Experience in transport, waste, industrial services, or a similar hands-on role.
• Physically fit and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.
• A strong focus on health and safety.
• Able to work independently and manage your day effectively.
• Good people skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Reliable, practical, and willing to pitch in where needed.

Responsibilities

• Operating specialised service vehicles and equipment.
• Servicing and maintaining partswashing units at customer sites.
• Collecting and transporting liquid and hazardous waste in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Completing waste tracking, compliance documentation, and service records.
• Conducting daily vehicle, equipment, and safety checks.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Building positive relationships with customers and representing WM professionally.
• Working collaboratively with a high-performing, safety-focused team.
