Job summary

Persol is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver in New Plymouth for a hands-on role combining driving, customer service and physical work. You will deliver products across Taupō and surrounding areas, load and unload stock, move items in yard and warehouse, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries while delivering great customer service.

Ideal candidates hold a NZ Class 2 licence with driving experience, strong communication skills, reliability and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Full, clean New Zealand Class 2 Driver Licence.
• Previous NZ Class 2 driving experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good level of physical fitness.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• OSH Forklift Certificate (preferred but not essential).
• Dangerous Goods (DG) Endorsement (preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Delivering products throughout Taupō and surrounding areas.
• Loading and unloading stock.
• Moving stock within the yard and warehouse.
• Completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Providing exceptional service to customers.
