Job summary

Green Valley Dairies Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join our team for day-to-day milk product deliveries from our Mangatawhiri factory. This role combines driving with customer service as you engage with clients across the Auckland and Waikato region.

Responsibilities include multi-stop deliveries, loading/unloading crates of milk, and maintaining a safe work environment. Pre-employment medical and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Heavy Vehicle driving experience is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of multi-delivery experience.
• Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Strong understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
• Positive attitude and team focus; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 2 Heavy Vehicle and deliver to customers across Auckland & Waikato region from Mangatawhiri.
• Perform multi-stop deliveries; load/unload crates of milk during the day.
• Engage with customers to provide service and build relationships.
• Maintain neat, well-presented appearance as the face of the company.
• Comply with pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol, ACC and criminal checks.

What is the opportunity?

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2 driver to join us toassist on a day-to-day delivery of product to our valued customers across the Auckland & Waikato region's, based from our Factory at Mangatawhiri.

This isn't your typical driving role. Customer service and sales are key in this role, so you must be able to communicate effectively and build a positive relationship with customers. This is a multi stop delivery driving position which requires a high level of physical strength and stamina as you will be loading and unloading crates of milk throughout your working day.

Tasks include:

• Class 2 Heavy Vehicle driving
• At least 2 years driving experience within a multi delivery capacity
• The legal right to work in New Zealand
• Strong understanding of work place Health & Safety
• A positive attitude and team focused
• Strong customer service skills - This role will see the successful applicant engaging with our customers on a daily basis.

Physical fitness.

• This role requires the successful applicant to complete deliveries into different sites with multiple entries and exits from the cab
• Able to lift, load move and carry products up to 25kgs
• Able to operate an electric pallet Jack and forklift

Excellent communication and written skills in English
