Job summary

DKW Recruitment Group is seeking a Class 2/4 Civil Construction Driver/Labourer for ongoing work in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. The role involves driving a 5.5 tonne truck on varied sites and providing general labouring support.

You will assist with timber, boxing, asphalt prep, and operating plat compactors, while working closely with the construction crew to deliver quality outcomes. A valid NZ Class 2 licence is required, with Class 4 preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid NZ Class 2 licence; Class 4 preferred.
• Experience in civil construction or general labour on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate 5.5 tonne / class 2/4 trucks around Canterbury.
• Work within the construction crew on various sites (driveways, car parks, subdivisions, tennis courts).
• Assist with timber, boxing, prep asphalt and chip seal; operate plat compactors.
• General labouring and other duties as required.
