Job summary

Southern Cross Community Healthcare – Hamilton is seeking a Claims Assessor to join our claims assessing team. You will analyse claims and decide coverage, delivering fair, accurate outcomes for our pet insurance customers.

We are looking for Claims Assessor superstars to join our claims assessing team in Hamilton.

You will have a professional and proactive nature, coupled with strong attention to detail that enables you to make strong decisions.

You will assess claims and support our customers with their pets by:

  • Analysing claims and deciding whether they are covered by our policies
  • Delivering operational excellence by achieving fair, accurate outcomes for our customers
  • Supporting a world class service for our customers through a decisive and fact-based approach
  • Working at pace to maintain a rapid claims turnaround time
  • Investing in your personal development to build skills and contribute towards our business strategy
  • Having a real passion for the care of our customers and their pets

  • An eye for detail, with the focus to double check work to ensure accuracy
