Job summary

Assemble in Dunedin, New Zealand, is seeking a Site Engineer or Project Engineer to join a major infrastructure project. The role is based on site in Dunedin and offers a competitive package with a vehicle and relocation support.

You will contribute to planning and delivering critical civil works, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with plans and regulations. Ideal candidates will have NZCE/diploma/degree in Civil Engineering and proven experience as a site or project

Qualifications

• Organisational and time management skills to plan and schedule work
• Excellent attention to detail in all drawings and specs
• Hold an NZCE, diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or similar

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work procedures to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Interpret plans and codes of practice to direct progress and ensure compliance
• Assist with costs, payments and negotiations with clients and subcontractors
• Record construction progress and variations from drawings or specs
• Prepare project quality assurance documentation and progress reports
• Complete site set outs and as-builts
• Coordinate with subcontractors regarding project requirements
