Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large land development civil project in Wanaka. You will oversee earthworks, drainage and civil works from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, time and budget targets are met.

You’ll coordinate site teams, subcontractors, clients and senior management, manage programmes and costs, monitor variations and monthly claims, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to deliver practical, high-standard outcomes on

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing civil construction, earthworks or land development projects.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting and programming.
• Excellent leadership and communication with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
• Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Monitor project costs, progress, variations and monthly claims.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements, NZ legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Oversee quality assurance, environmental management and project documentation.
• Prepare regular project reports while ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget.
