Job summary

AtkinsRéalis group through LDE is seeking a Civil Engineer based in Napier or Gisborne to advance their career with senior support. You will contribute from proposals through to engineering recommendations and budget management, collaborating across disciplines in a busy Hawkes Bay office near the coast.

You should have 4+ years NZ experience in consultancy, be proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and be comfortable communicating complex technical information to clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) required.
• 4+ years of New Zealand experience, including consultancy exposure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; familiarity with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Civil design works across subdivisions from concept to signoff.
• Roading and pavement design.
• Stormwater and wastewater reticulation design.
• Stormwater hydraulic neutrality design and flood assessments.
• Reporting and site monitoring.
• Simple structural design and retaining wall design.
