LDE, an AtkinsRéalis Company, based in Napier or Gisborne, seeks a Civil Engineer with NZ consultancy experience to advance your career. You will be involved from proposal through to engineering recommendations, with senior support across a specialist design scope.

You will collaborate across disciplines, balancing fieldwork and office tasks, in a team that values practical delivery and work–life balance. Ahuriri office supports a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities on national projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
• 4+ years of New Zealand experience, including consultancy exposure
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; familiarity with HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS is an advantage
• Resilience and ability to adapt and push through setbacks
• Ability to clearly communicate and translate technical information for clients, contractors, and non-engineers
• A dependable team player

Responsibilities

• Civil design works, including but not limited to
• Small to large subdivisions from concept to signoff stages
• Roading and pavement design
• Stormwater and wastewater reticulation design
• Stormwater hydraulic neutrality design and flood assessments
• Reporting
• Site monitoring
• Simple structural design
• Retaining wall and MSE wall design
• Foundation design
• Coastal revetment designs
