Our client in Canterbury is seeking an intermediate design engineer to support the Senior Team Lead. The role focuses on pure design, modeling, and related reporting with potential to expand into post-engineering approval tasks over time.
The position involves owning land development projects from concept to detailed design, including RFIs and associated reporting, with opportunities to progress into site observations and tendering in the future.
My client is looking for a dedicated intermediate design engineer to immediately support their Senior Team Lead. If you want a role where you can focus entirely on design, modeling, and related reporting without the distraction of immediate site management or contract administration, this is the perfect opportunity.
While the focus for now is strictly on pure design, there is plenty of room to expand your responsibilities and progress into post-engineering approval phases down the track.
Our client are surveying, land development and subdivision specialists with over 60 years’ experience in the Canterbury region. Their dedicated team delivers high-quality solutions across a wide variety of projects - rural subdivisions, multi-lot townhouse developments, and large-scale greenfield projects.
They are a team that take real pride in the culture they’ve built - far from a corporate environment. You’ll find a workplace that is fun, challenging, and full of laughs along the way. They consistently punch above their weight, and their repeat clients are a testament to that.
This would primarily be a land development focused role with options for both small and large-scale subdivision work depending on experience. This could include larger townhouse developments or smaller 2-10 lot sites. You will take ownership of jobs from concept right through to detailed design, answering RFIs, alongside all associated reporting.
