Job summary

Turbo Staff is actively seeking experienced Civil Carpenters to work on long-term projects across residential, commercial and construction sectors in New Zealand.

You will join a busy, supportive team, gain hands-on experience, and learn from skilled professionals while delivering high-quality formwork, concrete structures and carpentry on civil sites. Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Carpenter, specializing in formwork and concrete structures.
  • Experience working on bridges, roads and large civil construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of formwork, boxing, concrete structures, beams, stair construction, and high-quality finishing work.

Responsibilities

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to carry out carpentry tasks on civil sites.
  • Constructing formwork, boxing, beams, walls, stairs and other structural elements for bridges and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Working with concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes and active participation in pours.
  • Operating power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and care.
  • Collaborating with engineers and site supervisors to ensure timely completion per project requirements.

  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of weather conditions.
