Job summary

CHT Care Homes in New Zealand seeks an Activity Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and deliver engaging activities for residents, fostering companionship and social interaction. You will document outcomes and support the care team to enhance the activity programme.

The role focuses on compassionate service in a not-for-profit setting, with opportunities for ongoing training and leadership development within a supportive team.

• Encourage social interaction and participation, and document activity outcomes
• Maintain activity supplies and monthly activity schedules
• Follow health and safety requirements and report incidents
• Work collboratively with the care team to improve the activity programme
