CHT Care Homes in Auckland, NZ, is seeking a dedicated Activities Coordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities for residents. You will lead group sessions, encourage social interaction, and document outcomes to enhance well‑being.

The role requires compassionate communication, teamwork with care staff, and a willingness to learn and lead when needed. This on‑site position offers meaningful work in a values‑driven not‑for‑profit setting.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities for older adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead group activities with empathy.
• Reliable and able to work Sundays to Thursdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver individual and group activities that meet residents’ needs
• Encourage social interaction and participation, and document activity outcomes
• Maintain activity supplies and monthly activity schedules
• Follow health and safety requirements and report incidents
• Work collboratively with the care team to improve the activity programme

Hours of work: Sun to Thurs from 1030-1630
