Job summary

Morgan Laurenson is seeking a hands-on warehouse operator to manage the safe movement, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished products within our food processing facility in Palmerston North. You will work in a chilled environment handling fresh produce and maintaining high food safety standards.

Key duties include forklift operation, loading/unloading trucks, inventory accuracy, and picking/packing orders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift operating role.
• Experience within a food manufacturing or processing environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Accurately completing inventory and stock control tasks.
• Performing stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse.
• Ensuring all products are handled in accordance with food safety and quality requirements.
• Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
