Job summary

Financial Markets Authority NZ seeks a senior leader to head Evidence & Investigations in Wellington or Auckland. You will set strategic direction, lead through change, and connect investigative work with broader regulatory priorities to achieve effective outcomes.

You will build capability, foster an inclusive culture, and collaborate with Enforcement and other functions to deliver impactful regulatory results for New Zealanders.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience with setting direction and leading change.
• Strong investigations knowledge gained in regulatory or enforcement environments.
• Understanding of regulatory lifecycle and cross-function connections.
• Collaborative and inclusive leadership style with stakeholder influence.
• Excellent communication to bring teams through change.
