Job summary

Everest People is representing a global manufacturing client seeking a Head of Procurement & Supply Chain. The role leads a sizeable, geographically dispersed team and shapes procurement and supply chain strategy across multi-site operations, delivering measurable commercial and operational value.

You will influence at executive level while staying connected to operations, manage risk, and drive improvements in cost, service and governance across North Island sites.

Qualifications

• Seven plus years in senior leadership across procurement, supply chain, operations or governance.
• Experience in large, complex manufacturing or operational organisations.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with analytical capability.
• Demonstrated procurement savings, service improvement and risk mitigation.
• Executive-level influence while staying hands-on to deliver.
• Excellent stakeholder management and credibility.
• Postgraduate qualification or MCIPS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and supply chain strategy across multi-site operations.
• Deliver sustainable total cost of ownership benefits and risk reduction.
• Identify vulnerabilities and develop practical mitigation plans.
• Strengthen supplier performance, governance and contract management.
• Improve data quality and visibility for commercial decisions.
• Manage property portfolio, leases and related costs.
• Provide concise leadership reporting and recommendations to executives.
• Maintain visibility across locations to uplift capability and remove barriers.
