Job summary

Chubb Insurance Hong Kong seeks an experienced Senior HR leader to shape the people strategy for its fastest-growing Life Insurance operations in New Zealand. You will report to the CEO and collaborate across Asia Pacific HR while remaining accountable to the NZ Exec team.

You’ll lead culture, workforce planning, org design, succession, talent, ER, governance, and the HR engine, including responsible governance of people data and AI-driven transformation.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leader responsible for the people strategy and governance.
• Lead AI adoption and workforce implications within HR processes.
• Oversee HR operations, payroll, governance, and compliance with NZ employment law.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, Exec team, and regional HR to deliver the people strategy.
• Lead future of work thinking for AI adoption and workforce transition.
• Advise CEO and senior leaders on performance, leadership effectiveness, and complex people matters.
• Own talent and succession, including recruitment strategy and workforce segmentation.
• Drive workforce engagement and inclusion metrics across the organisation.
• Oversee employee relations, governance, and fair conduct according to NZ law.
• Run HR operations end to end, including payroll oversight and analytics.
