Job summary

Chubb Life Insurance New Zealand seeks an accomplished HR leader to sit on the Executive Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO. You will shape the people strategy across APAC and NZ, lead the AI and automation agenda, and partner with Asia Pacific HR in a matrixed organisation while remaining accountable to the NZ CEO and Exec team.

Your remit spans culture, workforce planning, org design, succession, talent, ER, governance, and the HR engine.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating in highly complex, transforming, regulated environments.
• Senior HR leadership with executive-level partnering experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategy in a matrix/global structure.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO and regional HR to build and deliver the people strategy.
• Lead AI adoption, job redesign, workforce transition and governance of people data.
• Advise the CEO and senior leaders on performance, leadership effectiveness, and complex people matters.
• Own talent and succession planning, including recruitment strategy.
• Oversee workforce engagement, inclusion, and employee experience.
• Run HR operations end to end, including payroll oversight and analytics.
