Job summary

HR Connect Limited in Hamilton, NZ, is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to take genuine ownership of day-to-day operations, freeing the CEO to focus on strategy, growth and external relationships.

You’ll lead the management team across operations, people, technology, systems, performance and risk, building accountability and ensuring the organisation has the capacity to scale across New Zealand and Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a complex operation and a leadership team.
• Strong commercial judgement and business acumen.
• Experience leading significant ERP or CRM implementation/change.
• Proven track record building leadership capability and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation with the CEO.
• Lead Heads of Department with clear accountability and communication.
• Improve systems, processes and reporting; implement new technology.
• Increase visibility around performance and use data to drive decisions.
• Oversee people, finance, compliance, H&S, risk and performance as the organisation grows.
• Provide the CEO freedom to focus on strategy and growth.
