Job summary

Accor Waikato is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to lead engineering and maintenance readiness through pre-opening and hotel launch. You will oversee the building systems, safety compliance, and energy initiatives while directing the Engineering team and external providers.

The role requires proven leadership in a senior facilities role, strong building services knowledge, and budgeting experience. Pre-opening or major project exposure is highly regarded, with NZ working rights essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Chief Engineer, Engineering Manager or senior facilities role.
• Strong knowledge across building services, plant and preventative maintenance.
• Experience managing contractors, compliance, budgeting and capital works.
• Pre-opening or major project experience highly regarded.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.
