Qualifications

• NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery.
• Previous cooking experience in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Be reliable, flexible and able to work independently or within a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, rotate and store kitchen supplies correctly.
• Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and sanitised.
• Follow all food safety, infection control, hygiene and health and safety procedures.

We are looking for a passionate Chef to join our team at CHT Te Awamutu in a permanent part-time role, working a guaranteed 16 hours per week .

• Hold an NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or an equivalent qualification
• Have previous cooking experience in a similar environment

• Be physically fit and able to satisfactorily pass a Police Clearance check
