Summerset Holdings is seeking a Chef Manager to lead the kitchen at Rototuna Village. You will oversee resident meal services, café offerings, and special events while driving quality, compliance, and cost control.

You will manage a cooking team, design menus, and ensure high standards in a busy, guest-facing environment. This permanent full-time role offers weekday hours with occasional events.

Mansioni

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals for residents, including those unable to visit the café.
• Create appealing menus and cabinet food that drive interest and enjoyment.
• Cater for special events, celebrations, and fine dining experiences.
• Lead, coach, and schedule kitchen staff, including rostering and day-to-day guidance.
• Manage stock, ordering, food storage, and kitchen equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
• Ensure full compliance with the Food Control Plan and food safety standards.
• Monitor costs, minimise waste, and support budget performance.
