Job summary

Amisfield in Queenstown, New Zealand, is seeking a Chef de Partie to cook excellent dishes in a renowned, open-kitchen environment. You will lead a section, ensure high-quality output, and collaborate closely with a passionate team.

Experience in a Michelin-starred or Hatted setting is valued, along with a formal culinary qualification and NZ cuisine knowledge. This full-time role offers competitive remuneration, minimum 30 hours per week, and opportunities for career progression with on-site

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in a Michelin Star or Hatted establishment.
• Culinary qualification from a reputable culinary school.
• Ability to run a section and produce consistently high quality dishes.
• Comfortable working in an open kitchen environment and interacting with guests.
• Willingness to work hard and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and ability to stay calm in a busy kitchen.
• Passion for New Zealand cuisine and understanding of local/seasonal produce.
• 6 months relevant experience preferred, ideally with NZ cuisine.
• NZ citizenship/residency or a valid work permit preferred.
