Zusammenfassung

Christchurch Casino in Canterbury, New Zealand is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our busy Kitchen team. You’ll bring a cookery qualification and/or at least five years’ experience in a professional kitchen, with strong communication and organisational skills.

Flexibility to work across the Casino's kitchens, rosters including days, nights and weekends, and a minimum 40 hours per week. Our opening hours are 12pm–4am Monday to Sunday.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a cookery qualification or at least five years’ experience in a professional kitchen.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience coaching junior chefs and stepping up when senior chefs are absent.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard
• Run your assigned kitchen section with efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and new recipes
• Maintain strict food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with our Food & Safety Plan
• Monitor stock levels, portion control, and waste management
