Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island's PAK’nSAVE Palmerston North store is seeking a part-time Checkout Supervisor. You will assist checkout operators, supervise the team, and help ensure smooth daily operations while delivering great customer service.

You will work evenings (Tue 3.30pm–9.15pm, Thu 5pm–9pm, Sun 5pm–9pm) totaling 17.5 hours per week, with a focus on accurate checkout operation, packing groceries, and maintaining a clean store environment.

As a Supervisor, you will support the Manager to ensure the day runs smoothly. You will also oversee the sale of restricted items to guarantee legal requirements are met.

Your duties will include:

Assisting Checkout Operators with queries

Operating a checkout and packing groceries

General cleaning

Checkout Supervisor hours are :

Tuesday, 3.30pm - 9.15pm

Thursday, 5pm - 9pm

Sunday, 5pm - 9pm

Total = 17.5hrs
