Job summary

Central Otago Health Services Limited Clyde invites applications for a Charge Medical Imaging Technologist to lead the Radiology team at Dunstan Hospital. You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate CT, X-Ray and ultrasound services, and work with the Radiology manager to ensure smooth operation and development of the service.

The role includes hands-on imaging in general X-Ray and CT, and participation in a 24/7 on-call roster with other MITs.

Qualifications

• Registered with NZ MRTB as a Medical Imaging Technologist.
• APC current and valid to work in New Zealand.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and coordination of the Dunstan Hospital Radiology Service (CT, X-Ray and Ultrasound).
• Lead the MIT team and work clinically in general X-Ray and CT.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster with other MITs.
• Collaborate with Sonographers, Rural Medical Specialists and Nursing/ Allied Health teams.
