Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Dunedin is seeking a Cervical Screening Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person and whānau-centred care in the community. You will assess health needs, plan interventions, deliver education and support clients to make informed decisions about their health.

You will work autonomously within your scope while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring culturally safe, evidence-based practice and strong connection to Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
• Annual Practising Certificate is required.
• At least one year of post-registration nursing experience.
• Current smear taker competency.
• Able to assess, triage and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally safe practice.
