Whangamata Playcentre is seeking a Centre Coordinator for a part-time, permanent position during term time. The role focuses on building adult capability and confidence, supporting whānau as first educators, and ensuring sessions reflect Playcentre Philosophy.
You will work collaboratively with centre whānau and support staff, modelling best practice and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements while promoting Māori values and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
