Te Aroha Playcentre is seeking a part-time Centre Coordinator for Te Aroha and Manawaru Playcentres. The role focuses on supporting whānau, delivering high-quality, whānau-led sessions, and guiding playcentre programmes in line with Playcentre Philosophy.
You will work with centre whānau, provide pedagogical guidance, promote Te Tiriti o Waitangi, ensure health and safety, and keep records. The position is 9 hours per week during term time, with responsibilities across mornings and afternoons as

About the role
Working in collaboration with centre whānau and other centre support staff, the Centre Coordinator focuses on building adult capability and confidence.
As the Person Responsible on session, this role provides high quality support and pedagogical guidance to Playcentre whānau. The Centre Coordinator ensures sessions and programmes reflect Playcentre Philosophy and enriches children’s learning and development.
